Matt says,

“It deals with climate crisis, political upheaval and war in Europe, Brexit and the hangover from a global pandemic is it really the 'same as it ever was'? The world has become an ever more confusing place to navigate and the best way I find to make sense if it all is to write songs.”
“This song questions the notion is it indeed the ‘same as it ever was’ while asking what do we do about it?”

Stylistically the single mixes indie rock, electronic elements and psychedelia. Imagine if The Flaming Lips, Frank Turner and KT Tunstall were to create together and you’re somewhere there.
